My process for this cute t-shirt dress was simple. I did 5 lines of shirring near the top of the t-shirt ( I started about an inch below the sleeves) to create an empire waist. Then I did 2 rows of shirring on the sleeves to make them puffy. I think it turned out great especially for my first attempt at shirring!

Shirr Fun
I decided to teach myself how to shirr this week. I used this fabulous tutorial from Ruffles and Stuff. Disney walks you through every detail and makes it simple. It took me a few attempts but once I felt comfortable with my shirring abilities I decided to tackle a fun T-shirt refashion that I saw on Create and Delegate.
Sorry about the picture. My little model was not in the mood to have her picture taken. After I snapped this one she did this and refused to let me take any more pictures.
